Course Description

This is a required course for all potential members of the Photography Center. This course will include a talk about the rules and regulations of the Photography Center, a complete tour of the facility including a tour of our forty enlarger darkroom with instructions on the uses for the enlargers and how to process both your resin coated and fiber black & white prints for optimum results. You will see the film developing rooms and learn about the uses of the dry mount presses. You will also visit the 1000 sq ft. portrait studio with multiple backgrounds and studio soft boxes. After the tour, there will be a question and answer session to address any of the subjects regarding black & white photography and studio lighting.
