Artist Statement from Denis Englander:

Hello Dear Viewer:

Thank you for taking an interest in my images.

My name is Denis Englander, 1947 born in California, raised and currently living in San Francisco. Playing with photography since the ‘70s has provided me with a lot of pleasure and spectrum for captured memories. It has increased my awareness for the world around me while offering many areas for discovery, self expression, and shared friendships. In addition to my own North America, I’ve been able to visit Western Europe, China, and Japan.

My favorite photography genres in both color and
Black & White include:

Street, Landscape, Portrait, Architecture, Abstract, Still, Travel, Macro, & Sports. Basically, “Soup to nuts”, I like it all. Whatever catches my eye and can fit in my lens, is qualified to become a memorable image. I hope you enjoy my memories.

Thank You!

Denis Englander

Special thanks to the assists from HMPC staff Grant Rusk, David Egan and Robert Tullis.
