These photographs are part of a series I am working on using customized cameras. These images showcase the McLaren Lodge and lawn area, which is our San Francisco Recreation & Park headquarters.
The McLaren Lodge was built in 1887 and was the residence of John McLaren, Park Superintendent and caretaker of the Golden Gate Park until 1943. The GG Park is one of my favorite places, as I find the park a living jewel, with endless features of beauty and restorative places to explore and enjoy.
