Course Description
Take your photographs to the next level with Adobe Photoshop’s powerful digital editing tools. Together we’ll navigate a wide variety of features including layers, color manipulation, text, brushes and filters while working on individual class projects. Learn the basics while having fun. Please bring a laptop with current version of Photoshop and thumb drive. Basic computer skills required.
Requirement
Photo Center Orientation is not required for this class, but it is required if student wishes to come to the Photo Center outside the workshop to develop film on their own and/or print their own photos in the Darkroom.

Instructor Bio
Barbara Pollak-Lewis is a San Francisco based multi-disciplinary artist and educator who has exhibited her work widely throughout the SF Bay Area since 2016. Before 2016, she worked for 25 years as a freelance Illustrator, Art Director and published author. Her clients included Bill Graham Presents, Simon and Schuster, The Washington Post, The Gap, and Seventeen. Barbara has taught all ages from age 7 up through adult, with an emphasis on non-traditional portraiture, collage and portfolio development for teens applying to art schools. She recently curated her first juried exhibition at Arc Gallery in San Francisco. She holds a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in Film/Animation/Video and a MA from Boston University in Arts Education. Website: www.barbarapollakart.com
