Photo Center Orientation

This is a required course for all potential members of the Photo Center; this course is not required to take the Photo Center’s other class offerings.

The orientation includes: a talk about the rules and regulations of the Photography Center, a complete tour of the facility including a tour of our thirty enlarger darkroom, film developing room, digital lab, and learn about the uses of the dry mount presses. The orientation will also discuss what is and isn’t required to use the space as a member.

After the tour, there will be a short question and answer session to address any questions attendees may have about the facilities, classes offered, and other general analog photography questions.

Regardless of prior darkroom or photography experience, the orientation is a requirement for individuals to use the Photo Center’s facilities outside of our other classes.

If an orientation is full, please call the Photo Center during business hours to see if dropping in without registration is possible: (415) 554-9522, or email harveymilkphotocenter@gmail.com.
