The Photo Center at Harvey Milk has been invited to participate in In Plain Site, an anchor event of the RISING TIDES Climate Arts Initiative. We invite all of our current members and staff as well as former exhibitors to apply to participate!
In Plain Site is a curated, climate-themed photography exhibit presented by Radium Presents and West End Arts District in Partnership with Photoville, a national non-profit organization that activates public spaces and addresses important issues through the lens of photography. Presented within and around the Radium Runway venue in Alameda, the project also features a speaker series with artists as well as climate and sustainability experts.
Mounted on and around the shipping containers of the Radium Runway outdoor event space, the photography exhibit will be open daily with a varied program of activities and community programs. We invite our members, staff, and previous exhibitors to submit works to be considered for display as part of this event.
