Basic Black and White Film Development

Course Description

Learn the basics of black and white film development! In this quick workshop students will be taught how to properly process their black and white film (35mm and/or 120 formats) There are no prerequisites and beginners are encouraged to sign-up. No class time will be spent in the printing darkroom, and color film development will not be covered in this class. In order to participate in the workshop, students must provide their own roll of black and white film that has already been shot through a camera before the start of the workshop. Films such as Ilford HP5+ 400 or Kodak Tri-X 400 are recommended.

Requirements

Students must provide their own roll of black and white film that has already been shot through a camera before the start of the workshop. Photo Center Orientation is not required for this class, and after the film is developed, students will be given an orientation on the Photo Center by the teacher to allow for memberships or day passes
